    Handling photos better

    Registering for forums in app

More extensive editing options, closer to native forum editing

Push notifications and/or the ability to open and use Tapatalk from links in emails (i.e. as an "open link in...").

Push notifications would be the key addition though for me and for the forum users that I interact with daily.

The app now seems to be perfectly fine the way it is. Push notifications apparently have been added. Only thing this poster can think of is the ability to delete his own threads from within the app. Not sure if that's already allowed or not, but it would be a great addition if not. Ads are a no-no if they still exist.

Edit: made a mistake, meant to say "posts" instead of "threads" when referring to deletion. It looks like that function is already available though, so that part can be disregarded.

The new update is tiptop, well done :)

Only thing I still would like is the edit note for moderators when editing other people's post!

I would be happy if that was made possible ;)

I see push notifications in the latest release as an option but they don't seem to be switched on. Is that coming later? And if so, when please?

Will they notify you of personal messages and or replies to posts you've made on threads.

    Both :)
  9. mikecorn1 New Member

You say both. I understand PM's. On threads that you comment on, for example. If I comment on a thread, will it send a notification if someone quotes my post? Or will it send a notification if anyone posts anything on the same thread after I did? ------- will the answer be all three :) ;)
It would be nice to set up notifications on particular threads that you want to follow up on and not every thread you've commented on. I put this on another thread. :) Sorry for the dumb questions. I'm new to this.

    Just surprise us! ;)

    Could you include multiquote too?

Better image handling (uploading). I've never been able to get it to work with vb.

Multiquote would be most amazing to have added, as well as quote selected text, and the ability to see emoticons. Other than that I think the app is great, and loved the last update especially.

Ability to set it to go to forums would be great and all the other features in the android v2 such as setting favourites.

Yes, god forbid your freeloading user experience is interrupted by the developers' need to earn some money out of their investment of time and effort.

The only person acting entitled is you - they owe you what, precisely? 'Not a goddamn thing'

This is a forum for providing constructive feedback to the developers so that they can improve the substance of their app, not somewhere for you to just express pointless immature rage. If you don't like their app, just don't buy it. Doesn't make them parasites.

These are what i appreciate to see in next version. However, accept my apology if they've already mentioned:

    1. Making push notification alerts customizable so we choose for which events we'd like to be notified. Such as PM, new post in a subscribed topic, new topic in a subscribed forum, profile messages, etc. (like what we see in Facebook official app)

    2. Multi-quote. It could be done by a double-tap on a post or a two-finger tap. Then when we choose Reply To Topic, all the selected posts are quoted in the reply box.

    3. Supporting profile messages. Currently if we get a profile message there's no way to view or reply to it until visiting the forum using an internet browser.

Thank you for this Amazingly practical app.

What is Profile message? I suppose visitor message? Or your personal status update? Which forum system you are referring to?
