Thanks for the feedback guys, we are still adding the search feature and it will be in next release for sure.

For the History tab we will add the auto-login back! This is something I was hopeing to hear during the beta period which I have sent out the app to quite a bit of long term users here but only one user actually get back to us which was a bit disappointing, I guess we just need to keep pushing out change to every one here via app store so we can fix them in subsequent releases.

Well for beta testing I'd love to get in on it. I have 5 forums that I view on tapatalk everyday. So I'm sure I'd be able to help with the bugs.

I had the beta, but just used it for just a short time. I missed it I guess in there. Sorry.

Love a SMF beta tester... PM me your iPhone UDID and you are all set for next version..

I got the beta last week. Damn thing wouldn't install. My laptop is whack, new one is on the way. But I don't see how I could of given feedback in less than a week of testing any way. I must of recieved the beta app late.

Too be honest when I told me the only new feature that was added I didn't see how I could test it. I don't use multiple accts.

    What's up with push notification?

The multiple account thing is great, but it's flakey. Switching between accounts sometimes doesn't change the unread status, or shows everything as unread. Or something like that. Restarting the app will fix it.

interesting i think it relates to the previous cache.. hm.. let us try to reproduce it and will fix it accordingly if found anything.

I'd like to see something as simple as remembering that you're in the middle of composing a post when you leave the app and come back.

Just a minute ago, it bit me again: I went over to Safari to grab a link and when I came back, I had lost what I had already composed. **Very** irksome!!

You got it. As soon as I get home Ill pm you it.

*edit* I found a app that tells you your udid.
    You've got pm.

And above all, for bigger forums it is very annoying just to show the last 20 posts :(

Check out the Tapatalk prefs in the Settings app.

Yea, I got it sometime last week...not nearly enough time to use it and figure out any issues.

For the most part I'm happy w/the app, it has come along way since it was first released, however I am not understanding the development plan.

You have paid users after user requesting X feature and it seems the dev team does what they wanna do anyway, lol.

Which as you can see, makes me want to beta test it less and less, whats teh point, it's the same feature set almost every release.

I hope this doesn't come across wrong, just voicing what I see as a reoccurring set of circumstances with each "new" update.

max is 25, that is still the old value. nothing has changed there

I'm going to have to agree. It has been a bit frustrating seeing things not implemented we suggest or request. I tell myself it's a small team with a lot of work on their hands. Plus I know bb is a pain in the a$$ to develop for.

But their hasn't been much added in the last updates. I still don't get how multiple logins get done before other things.

The beta testing doesn't even seem like beta testing when it's in the app store in less than a week. Like how could anything I report be put in before it hits the app store.

I'm a big supporter of tapatalk and the team. So please take my words as constructive critcism.

U mean the last 20 threads?

That's the limit for now. Last I heard they are working on that.

above all, my own apps got approved in mostly less than 24 hours after the appstore has been revamped around christmas
  17. beatforge Member

well ,the last 20 or 25 threads with new posts

The 25 post settings was for how Many posts to show in a thread.

Note taken and we hear from you. ;)

The Unread tab will have ability to load more than first 20 posts and with the real unread number.

And yes, regarding the app store update, our app got approved in 24 hours too. We were hoping to hear more feedback while waiting (the last update review time was 2 weeks) and can always replace it if important issues were found.

And yes we are still the same team as before so things can get distracted quite a bit with other devices support. Now it's an art to balance the update/features in different devices so to make everyone happy. In that sense you will feel the new features are not added as fast as before.

And don't get me wrong, I personally feel that to keep this project sustainable we need to keep adding features and improving the experience, on all supported devices. I am not happy with the progress so far too.

Love the latest features on the update. I would like to find out more about the push notifications ability. Do you have an update on this feature????
