IGN Boards http://www.ign.com/boards/ Every time I attempt to login I get the same Permission; Security Error. I can literally do nothing from that point, But I know other users on the forum are able to use Tapatalk without problems, so I'm assuming it's not a site related issue. I have the most current Tapatalk update as well. Any thoughts?
Do you have problem on iOS or android device? Any special characters in your username of password? Or can you provide a test account which can reproduce the problem?
It's iOS iPhone 4S. No special characters, and yes I have a test account you guys can use. Where do I need to leave the details for it?
As I know the ign forum has third part authrization mod which can not work in tapatalk. In a period it changed back to native login moudle, not sure why it changed back to third part mod.
Hmm, but still, there are other IGN forum users using Tapatalk with the boards. What would restrict my access, but not theirs.
I've created 3 separate accounts for the site and tried every variation Of email username combo.... I'm just failing that hard, but thanks for continuing to try and help.
To me I'm able to sign in, but making threads and posts its what it denies me. Fail authorization or something.
Without wishing to thread crap, I get the same error on a different forum. If it helps, I'm using an iPad.
I have the same problem at IGN. I keep getting the; "Permission Error Security error, you may not have permission to access." Everytime I try to login and also can't do anything whatsoever after the error is given. This all just started this morning.
I'm having the same problem "You do not have permission to perform this action". I upgrade TapaTalk to 3.4.0 and it was working for a bit. Then, I was thrown by the control panel that appears to restrict the forums that Tapatalk can access. 1) I would assume that the vBulletin forum permissions would take care of that. 2) How does one go about setting these? "Hide forums you don't want them to be listed in Tapatalk app." "CTRL" and select the ones you WANT them to see, or "CTRL" and select the ones you DON'T want them to see, or just allow vBulletin forum permissions to display those forums they are allowed to see. Very confusing option... sorry!
I've been looking into this and for the life of me I can't figure out why some users have issues while many do not. It is something that I'm trying to figure out sooner than later. :/
I downgraded my site to mobiquo_vb3x_3_3_3.zip and I'm back up and running. I spent most of the day trying to get mobiquo_vb3x_3_4_0.zip to work. At this point, I have to let someone else debug this one .
The ^^^post says its fixed yet I still get this error and have been for the last month. It only seems to happen while I am NOT connected to wifi. Oh I am using the iPhone 4S with latest iOS.
