It's nearing release now, and several of us can help test it on our development sites. Given Tapatalk was never updated for 1.7, I really don't want to wait even longer for it to be updated for 2.0! There will be a lot of major changes "under the hood" for it which will make it a very desirable upgrade. No PM support - if we can integrate support for UddeIM as well, that would be fantastic.
Cool we will look into it! Though I still don't understand why it doesn't have PM support which is quite a essential part of a forum community?
There are a lot of other Components which offer PMs, so Kunena is not re-inventing the wheel. Instead, they are letting people use other Components (like UddeIM), and integrating with them.

We are still working on an update for 1.7 - likely we will not able to work on 2.0 in next little while, we will revisit it when the RC period is finished. BTW where is the RC2 download link?

I would STRONGLY suggest focusing on 2.0 - it will be a major upgrade, and fix a lot of issues with 1.7. Please do not delay on 2.0 support, as I suspect a lot of people will be making the jump to 2.0 as soon as it's released (I know I want to, even if it means dropping Tapatalk - it's that important to me to get the new features.) The link in my post above will always take you to the latest release, so you can get the latest version of Kunena.
If SMF 2.0 release is any indicator, there will be a significant lag of upgrade so we will continue to put focus on existing forums though to find resource to work on 2.0.
I can tell you, the SMF 2.0 release is *not* an Indicator for the Kunena 2.0 release. The SMF release was held up by internal politics and legal issues within the dev team. This is not the case for Kunena (I'm on the Beta Testers, and they're moving full steam ahead). They've gone from public Beta to RC2 in the space of about 2 months. As much as I would like to see a Tapatalk for Kunena 1.7, I don't want to see a significant delay for 2.0, either.
Do you have a release date for Kunena 2.0 ? I belong to a forum that I have suggested them to use your software but they have the 2.0 version. Thanks,
