So you are not going to fix it for those that have this issue? You are blaming Google? I should just uninstall the free version since it's pointless.
What do you want them to do. It is Googles fault. Distributing the apk is not the solution, as it will lead to more piracy. All that being said, they said they have a method for it that they will announce shortly. * Via my HTC EvO 4G *
I found a workaround that allowed me to see Tapatalk paid version in the marketplace. I do agree with Morty. My first post was probably more harshly worded than necessary. After more research into the causes of this, I understand that the true cause in this is the root update of our phones to 2.2 before being officially updated by our carriers. That being said, we took on those risks, and cannot hold the software developers responsible. So, I do apologize for my first post. Alright back to the workaround that solved this for me. http://www.droid-life.com/2010/06/12/tip-market-app-issue-in-froyo/ Again, you assume all risk, and you alone are responsible for any issues you experience from using this or any other updates of its kind.
Hopefully the SlideMe setup will put this issue to rest: http://tapatalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=13024#post13024
